INSURANCE

Dr. Land is does not accept any insurance plans directly. She has made this decision in order to focus her time and energy on providing high quality clinical care for patients rather than focusing on administration and reimbursement duties. Many insurance PPOs will provide a large percentage of out of network provider fees, but this negotiation must be done by the patient with his or her provider. Payment is to be made to Dr. Land for services provided at the time of each appointment.

CANCELLATIONS

Please provide 48 hours notice prior to any change or cancellation of an appointment to avoid fees.

APPOINTMENTS

Please call Dr. Land’s office to schedule an appointment at (310) 428-2833. Please leave a detailed message with call back number and times when you can speak to the doctor when scheduling your appointment.

PAPERWORK

Initial evaluation forms and supporting documentation (labs, imaging, other provider contact information). If you have past medical and/or psychiatric records (chart notes, laboratory results, tests, imaging studies etc) that may be helpful, please bring copies of these records to your first visit. Please also bring available contact information (tel/fax/email) for your previous psychiatrist(s), therapists, and other physicians caring for you so that Dr. Land can obtain collateral information to ensure you are provided with integrated care. Prior to your first appointment, please download and complete the necessary paperwork (please go to the “Patient” page) to avoid filling out paperwork on the day of your appointment. If you are not able to complete the forms ahead of time, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment in order to fill out paperwork at that time.
